A note on
2020

At Communities for Communities, we have been using these unprecedented times to refocus and reconnect. C4C is continuing to monitor all our existing projects and keep in touch with our partners. We are also working on new ideas and initiatives to help improve C4C and our community connections.

In addition to our projects in Cambodia and Tamworth, we are working to announce new community partnerships with both the Kokoda Memorial Foundation and the Parkes Community in Rural NSW. Through these projects, we are hoping to extend our community reach and continue to help those communities in need throughout Australia.

We are staying connected with all our regular project partners to update them our projects both here and overseas. All our volunteers are still active and keeping busy (from home!) to help ensure C4C ensure can jump straight back into our immersions and normal operations when we can!

C4C has a new website launching in late 2020 – so keep an eye out for this! Our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as our new website, will have regular updates on everything that will be happening over the next few months. We will continue to post throwbacks to highlight all the work and support that goes into our C4C immersions and events!

Unfortunately, many of our events earlier this year were cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, we are excited to be hosting the first ever Halloween at the Drive-In event across the Halloween weekend with movie sessions for all ages. We will watch closely how the drive-in event goes and watch any Government announcements to see what the annual Carols event looks like for 2020. It is in the diary for Wednesday 16th December so stay tuned for more updates on this!

We hope everyone has been staying safe and healthy during these crazy times. We are continually grateful for your ongoing support and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon!
