WELCOME TO COMMUNITIES FOR COMMUNITIES!
Communities for Communities is built on four pillars:
We build, experience and celebrate our community.
We reach out and help other communities to meet their needs.
We raise awareness and understanding of the needs of others.
We challenge and encourage other communities to set up their own Communities for Communities model.
With the support of the people of Canada Bay, we've hosted dozens of community events and raised more than half a million dollars. This has built houses, schools, and communities facilities in disadvantaged communities overseas in Thailand, the Philippines and South Vietnam, and funded additional paediatric physiotherapy hours in Lucas Gardens School in Five Dock.
Those who've become involved with Communities for Communities have enjoyed the richness and sense of connectedness of helping other communities. As Founder and President Lance Brooks says, "The proceeds of our work go beyond our community but the benefit stays here."
